Led the team to identify acquisition candidates, evaluate impact on Visigenic business, prepare valuation and funding analysis for management, and develop the strategy to achieve post-acquisition financial and strategic objectives.
Merger
with Witness Systems
Led the Technical and Business Operations team to identify potential M&A candidates, perform bi-directional due diligence on potential M&A candidates, lead the pre- and post-merger M&A activities, and work the special funding elements of the primary transaction.
As a result of these pre- and post-Merger activities, the PBG identified a non-strategic business unit which was acquired in the transaction. The PBG lead the efforts to spin these operations out of Witness Systems Inc. into an independently owned and operated business.
